Chicho is one of the most creative and enthusiastic members of the new school of dancers led by Gustavo Naveira. He is known for his playful, "avant garde" style of dancing tango. Chicho offers an in-depth look at underlying structures around which much of the creative work of the new generation of tango dancers is built. He is thorough, fun, and articulate. In these videos Chicho is accompanied and translated by his friends Brooke Burdett and Sharna Fabiano, both tango teachers (Brooke is currently living in Buenos Aires, Sharna in Boston. At the time these videos were filmed, both were in Buenos Aires working as staff instructors and translators for Bridge to the Tango). Chicho dances several studio demos in each video with Brooke and Sharna. These videos should be used in sequence.
