This year there will be MORE CLASSES AT MORE LEVELS in all of the dances. Choose from many different programs; follow your chosen dance through the week and/or learn something new. Evening dances will embrace the best of swing, salsa and tango music. Performances throughout the week. JimmyÕs Roadhouse is our evening dance hall, specially created for this camp in the Dance Theatre, with a fireplace, late night lounge, and many other treats!

Optional classes in IMPROVISATION, SWANGO and EXCHANGING ROLES. Treat your body to some Yoga with JONI YECALSIK and massage with BEN BENJAMIN, and dance injury prevention clinics with both of them. Enjoy the local Hot Springs. Dance and Rejuevenate!

THE PERRY MANSFIELD DANCE CENTER AND STEAMBOAT SPRINGS:
Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp is spectacularly located on 75 acres of beautiful countryside, looking up at the continental divide. Three magnificent studios, with incomparable views and a theatre. Only 2 miles away are Strawberry Hot Springs where you can soak in the healing mineral water under a crystal clear sky and watch for shooting stars. The town of Steamboat Springs is only a mile away and has shops, restaurants, a weekly rodeo, and itÕs own set of modern, developed Hot Springs. Minutes from town you can also horseback ride, hike and golf!

Our caterer, award-winning Jimmy's of Aspen, is dedicated to providing fine, unpretentious, American cuisine, using only the freshest and organic products. Jimmy himself is a keen tango and salsa dancer, look out for him on the floor!

All classes and evening dances are included. Transportation, accommodation, and food are additional. Stay with us or stay in town in a variety of different kinds of accomodations. A shuttle service is available from Denver Int. Airport to Steamboat Springs.

The above pricing is your base price. Please see below for lodging and food options. Your total price is the base price plus lodging and/or food.

Accommodation
Rustic (When we say "rustic," we mean it!) Dorm rooms $85 (weekend only: $30) with shared bathrooms. Indicate single sex or co-ed preference. Rustic Cabins for 1-2 people $195 (weekend only: $65, if available). Bathrooms nearby and shared. Bring your own bedding and linen for cabins and dorms. 4 Mountain Lodges $1000 for 1-6 (There is currently a waiting list for the lodges). On-site camping/RV camping, $50/wk (weekend only: $15). Great Motel/Hotel/Condo options can be found in town, only a few minutes away by car. You will need a car! We recommend the Hotel Bristol at 1-800-851-0872 - make sure to ask for your Rocky Mountain Dance Camp discount!

Basic Meal Plan:
(Catered by award-winning Jimmy's of Aspen, CO.) $175/person (Includes 17 meals/wk. Two light and one big meal/day. Please indicate vegetarian/meat preference.) (weekend $50 for 5 meals- Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast) There will be a bar and a snack bistro in the evenings - a great place to hang out!

Note: We strongly recommend you take the meal plan, even if you are living off campus. It will be much more convienent and the food is excellent. There is absolutely no food allowed in the cabins or on campus, outside the dining halls. We want to attract a diverse selection of participants, hungry black Bears are not among them!

All 75 Acres of Perry Mansfield are designated NO SMOKING AREAS.

Class Schedule: See our 2001 schedule. We will ask registrants to indicate which classes they prefer so we can select the right sized dance space, but classes will not be pre-registered. Levels will be carefully managed.

How to Register: Send checks to Bridge to the Tango, P.O. Box 440394, West Somerville, MA 02144. Calculate your total price including onsite lodging and meal plan (if applicable). On receipt of your payment you will receive a registration and information packet, with confirmation of your housing choice, in the mail.
